Job Overview
As a Software Development Engineer II - Frontend, you will design and develop high-quality user interfaces and frontend systems that power HighLevel's platform. You'll work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences while maintaining code quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical implementations
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive design across all devices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Experience with responsive design, HTML5, and CSS3
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
