Job Overview
We are looking for an exceptional Founding Product Designer to join our nascent team in San Francisco. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization and user research to high-fidelity prototyping and collaboration with engineering. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for user-centered design and a proven ability to drive product innovation.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product design strategy and execution for Nell's core offerings.
- Conduct user research and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Establish and maintain design systems and style guides.
- Champion user-centered design principles across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing successful product launches.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and agile development processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
